Shiny applications

So, Google released an application on Android for their Blogger site. Yet another reason piling up to try and make me use this tiny bit of internet that has been carved out for me.
It's worth a try, right now I'm on my shiny HTC desire (waiting with baited breath for the Android update) trying to make sure that I don't fill the phone with crap and finding this to be an onerous task. For a phone designed to carry and run a lot of apps, the internal memory is fairly poor and the number of apps which allow you to port them onto your SD card are still surprisingly few.
I wish HTC would find a way of upgrading their battery tech as well, I may well have to recharge as a consequence of uploading this short few paragraphs... ok so it's not that bad, but it's pretty bad; using as anything but a phone and the batt is consumed at a record pace. To that end, I have just purchased a solar charger: the power traveler explorer (or words to that effect) so maybe i'll blog about that sometime after it arrives.
